Man, these photos are so old! (relatively). I'm a little late on the bloggerton due to the fact that I've been constantly adventuring for the last month and I've been in places with absolutely no electricity so.... yeah. Anyway, starting in the desert.... Arizona and Nevada. Gosh, besides the Moab dessert and the Grand Canyon... I think I'd rather not visit these death-like places ever again.

cool dam. I couldn't stop picturing/replaying las vegas vacation in my head.

No pictures will do the Grand Canyon justice... you just gotta see it for yourself. I told Glenn that the reason I am afraid of heights is because I feel like I want to jump/fall, and he freaked out. Of course I wouldn't do it, but that is WHY I'm afraid. Makes sense right?

Two girls from Florida came to the Grand Canyon and wanted to trade photos. It's a little impossible to feel un-tourist like when you're wearing street clothes on the side of a cliff.

This crow had some vocal chord issues. Possibly a Dinosaur.

What IS this place?...

Nothing too exciting happened at the Grand Canyon except for the fact that we got a little lost on the way there. Oh ya, and the little town before the Grand Canyon is scary. As I was pumping gas, a man came up to me holding cowboy boots.
why do I smile at strangers?
He came up to me as I was at the pump and explained his life story to me. He said that he rides bulls and that he lost all of his money gambling a day earlier. He then told me to follow him around back so that I could meet his girlfriend who was wearing his championship jacket. I kindly declined and said I had to go to the bathroom(lie).
Stuff like that always happens to me.

stuff like this I never see. I'm used to wheat fields and clay bottom rivers.... this is alien like to me!

who put that rock there?....
just kidding.

Due to the fact that TomTom was leading us in circles from day one, we decided an Atlas was much needed. Then we got carried away and coloured in the states we've been to and all the different plates we saw. It was pretty dumb because we never continued it after day 2. Speaking of which, all the "where the hell is that" faces were rather entertaining. "Is Manitoba in Minnesota?".... ya sure it is America. aha.
I recently traveled the #1 way up North. It was so beautiful, I almost cried (literally)... Vancouver is the place to be. 2011.
Anyway, border crossing went smoothly (probably because I wasn't wearing wool or patchoulli scented parfume)....
Many adventures to come... but it's time to watch Avatar. Wish me luck, I hope I don't fall asleep.
cheers!
