lube up that chain

In my opinion, today was the ultimate first day of spring. Regardless of the fact that I was still rocking my sweats tucked into my socks with an x-long bunny hug...I think people laughed at me....
SO....You know when spring is around when:
a) people are wearing capris (even the guys)
b) the running trails are bumping
c) people playing frizbee outside with no tee's on, blinding me with their skin tone.
d) tanning appointments are outta control
e) people are busting out their bicycles.......

actually, I would like to touch on letter e.

People like myself, who aren't so bike savy, wish and hope their bikes are okay from last fall.....
I actually filled my tires with air (or marve did).... but there is something going on with my chain thing that is making a raspy type noise that I should probably get fixed if I'm flying down 3rd street intoxicated..
Anyway, since I am sketched out about my bike, I think it's okay for me to call out strangers who have it worse than I do.
Today, as I was walking into the back doors of the LRC I noticed a young man attempting to ride his bike up that hill... Well, it didn't start off so well because I could hear him breathing. So I assume he was in a tough gear. He tried to change gears, and since they probably weren't lubed up, he must of unhooked the whole thing.
So picture this:
Someone riding a really tough gear, pretty fast, up a hill. THEN automatically going from all that resistance to nothing. I'm surprised he didn't nut himself.... I watched the whole thing WITHOUT laughing....because I beleive in karma AND my chain is sketched out as well.
SO, if you are like me and need some professionals to get your bike set for the summer, visit these doods at the Quickstop Bike Shop. They love bikes, beers and kromers!

Also, goodluck to all ESPR/PR kids who have to write this stupid outcomes assessment tomorrow. I would like to give a sarcastic shout out to Kerry who chose Russian Ballet for our presentation tomorrow...seriously...gag me.

BYE!
